Shots Fired at Home in Hanover

Two people said they were woken up by gunfire, but no one was hurt. There was no immediate information on suspects.

Anne Arundel County police are investigating a report of shots being fired at a home in Hanover late Monday night. 

Police said officers responded at about 11 p.m. to the 1400 block of Gesna Drive and spoke with a 60-year-old woman and 27-year-old man, who said they were woken up by the sound of gunfire. They found that several shots had been fired into the house, causing some damage. No one was injured. 

Police searched the area but could not find any suspects. There was no immediate information about who may have fired the shots. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives from Western District at 410-222-6155.
