Shots were fired at a ride-share driver in Anne Arundel County. The suspect also threatened to rob the driver, police said.

SEVERN, MD — Shots were fired at a ride-share driver this weekend in Severn, police said.

Officers said they arrested the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Kymoni Quantay Turner of Severn.

Authorities said they were called to the 1800 block of Eagle Court around 3 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the male suspect, a ride-share customer, got into an argument with a 28-year-old male driver.

Officers said the driver then declined the suspect's ride.

Authorities accused the suspect of threatening to rob and shoot the driver, who drove away.

Police said the suspect fired several gunshots toward the driver, who escaped unharmed.

Officers said they found the suspect inside his home in the 1800 block of Eagle Court and took him into custody.
