Arrest Made in Chapelview Shooting - Police arrested Andrew Gary Neale on attempted murder charges after finding two people with bullet wounds. It was one of several incidents in Chapelgate in 2013 that led to the reformation of a community association. 

'Friendly' Thieves Target Shoppers in Hanover - Police said two people stole from shoppers by chatting with them and distracting them before taking their purses. A man and woman were later arrested after their photos were distributed online. 

Boy Struck by Car on Odenton Road - An 11-year-old boy sustained minor injuries when he tried to cross the street near Odenton Elementary School. The school principal stayed with the boy until an ambulance and parents arrived. 

Nando's Peri-Peri Opens at Arundel Mills - After opening with some fanfare in Gambrills, the popular Portuguese chicken restaurant opened at the mall. 

Sibling Rivarly Leads to Stabbing - A Severn woman was quarreling with her sister and eventually stabbed her in the leg, according police. She pleaded guilty to one charge and was sentenced to two days in jail, according to court records.
