St. Joseph's Holds Annual Spaghetti Dinner For Haiti
The church has exceeded its goal of raising $28,000 to support a sister parish in the impoverished country. Money goes to support a school lunch program and to give extra money for teachers.

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Odenton held its annual spaghetti dinner Sunday to benefit its sister parish in Haiti.
Several hundred community members feasted on pasta and got an update on efforts to provide school lunches and support for teachers at St. Peter of Poteau Parish in Gonaives, Haiti.
Deacon Dave Page reported that the church had already surpassed its goal of raising $28,000 for the sister parish this year. Funds will go to continue a school lunch program for about 350 students and offer supplemental salary to teachers.
In past years, money from St. Joseph's has also gone to build a well and construct four new classrooms.
