Swim Teams Gearing up for Summer

Young swimmers in the area can start thinking about joining one of the competitive teams in the area. 

Swimmers in Piney Orchard can now sign up to be part of the Piranhas swim team. 

The Piney Orchard Swim Team is open to anyone in the community 18 and under, with meets at the Island Pool. 

Registration runs through June 15. There will also be swimsuit try-ons on April 27 and May 18.  

On May 11, the Piranhas will host the dunk tank at the Piney Orchard Street Festival.

Sea Dogs Registration on May 11

Swimmers who don't live in Piney Orchard can sign up to joing the Waugh Chapel Sea Dogs. Swim team members must be members of the Waugh Chapel Swim Club. (Click here for information on memberships.)

Waugh Chapel also has a dive team that is coming off an undefeated season.

Registration for the Sea Dogs will be in person from 9 a.m. to noon on May 11.
