Three Hurt as Car, Dump Truck Collide on Parkway
The crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. near the Hanover Road exit.

Three people were injured Thursday night in a crash involving a car and dump truck on the Baltimore Washington Parkway.
The crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. in the southbound lane, near the exit to Hanover Road.
Division Chief Keith Swindle of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said firefighters spent about 30 minutes working to extricate the victims. All three were then transported by ambulance to the Shock Trauma center in Baltimore with injuries that were serious, but not life threatening.

The victims included two men, approximately 47 and 27 years old, and a woman, approximately 30 years old.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Maryland State Police.
