No homes were destroyed, but there was minor to mild damage concentrated in a residential neighborhood on Sunny Chapel Road. That's located a few blocks from GORC Park.
Patch visited the community the day after the storm, and clean-up was already well underway.
We saw several downed trees, a toppled street light post and a portion of housing facade covered with a tarp.

Multiple houses had pieces of siding ripped off near their roof.
Some snapped and uprooted trees fell onto homes, the NWS said in a Saturday alert confirming the twister.
This video seemingly capturing the funnel cloud forming was posted by independent Maryland Meteorologist Justin Berk.
"Nearby areas had reported silver dollar size hail, and well over 1 inch of rain in a 10 to 20 minute period," Berk said on X, formerly Twitter.

WBFF Meteorologist Gerard Jebaily uploaded this footage that seems to show the tornado taking shape.
"The circulation was rapid enough and condensation funnel low enough to the ground that this could have easily touched down briefly as a tornado but only the US National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington can confirm if it is not beyond obvious from video," Jebaily said on Facebook before the NWS confirmed the twister.
Maryland has had a spurt of tornadoes over the past few summers.
Twisters hit:
- Annapolis, Edgewater and Columbia in 2021.
- Bowie in 2022.
- Poolesville in 2023.
- Middle River, southern Baltimore County, central Montgomery County, Columbia and southeast Carroll County in 2024.
