Verizon Wireless Store in Piney Orchard Robbed
Police said three men entered the store Friday night, with one armed with a handgun. They got away with some phones and cash and escaped in a stolen car.

Three men committed an armed robbery at the Verizon Wireless store in Piney Orchard Friday night, Anne Arundel County police said.
Police said they responded to the store about 8:30 p.m. and learned that the men entered the store wearing all black, gloves and masks. One suspect flashed a black handgun and demanded phones and money. The three men got away with some merchandise and an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to police, the suspects got away in a silver Jeep Cherokee that had been reported stolen earlier in the evening from the 700 block of Linden Grove Place.
The Jeep was found later Friday night on Autumn Gold Drive.
This is not the first time the Verizon Wireless store has been robbed. Police also reported a similar robbery involving two suspects in March, and said it may have been part of a larger crime ring targeting electronics stores throughout the Baltimore-Washington region.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 410-222-3465.
