Volunteers Needed to Serve on Town Center Committee
The county is looking to fill two spots on the Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee.

The county is seeking applicants for two positions on the Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee.
Members of the nine-person board are appointed by the county executive to serve three-year terms, with no term limits. The committee meets every last Tuesday of the month. The deadline to apply is Dec. 13.
The vacancies on the board came after the resignation of Jamie Fraser from the board, and the recent death of Norman Myers.
The committee serves as an advisory group to the Office of Planning and Zoning, reviewing development plans to see if they comply with the Odenton Town Center Master Plan.
Board members include local residents and business leaders with a variety of backgrounds.
The most recent version of the master plan was adopted in 2009 but will be revised again in 2014. County officials said it is their hope that the new members will be in place by early next year to participate in the revision process.
