A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. If you find yourself craving some breakfast, but you're on the go or you just really want some Chick-Fil-A (as I often do) you can satisfy your needs on the cheap for the next two weeks. Area Chick-Fil-A restaurants are giving away free breakfast entrées during breakfast hours for the next two Thursdays, Jan. 31 and Feb. 7, according to a release from the company. Is there a catch? Of course there is. You have to remember to say "The early bird gets the chicken" between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m. to collect. Entrée choices will vary by restaurant, but could include: a chicken biscuit, spicy chicken biscuit, three or four  Chick-n-Minis, a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit; a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit; chicken breakfast burrito or a sausage breakfast burrito. The nearest Chick-Fil-A stores are located in North Plaza Shopping Center (2008 Joppa Road) or on Bel Air Road in nearby Perry Hall. Will you take advantage of the free breakfast offer?
