Baltimore Sun Readers Name Oak Crest Among Best Retirement Communities
Community earns honorable mention in annual Readers' Choice Awards

Oak Crest, an Erickson Senior Living community in Baltimore County, was recently recognized among the area’s best retirement communities by readers of The Baltimore Sun, as part of the paper’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards.
According to the publication, readers voted on what’s the best in the region from antiques to veterinary practices. This year’s winners included people and businesses recognized for outstanding service and customer satisfaction over the last year. Several businesses stood out from the crowd.
“Being recognized as one of the best retirement communities in the Baltimore region, particularly by readers’ votes, is a true testament to the vibrant lifestyle that our residents enjoy,” said Mark Roussey, executive director. “We are proud of the caring community we have here at Oak Crest, and strive to provide the best in services and amenities so that residents can enjoy an active, engaged way of living throughout their well-deserved retirement years. On behalf of the dedicated staff at Oak Crest, I would like to express our appreciation to the readers who voted in this year’s Baltimore Sun Readers’ Choice Awards.”
