Burger King Offers Free 'Satisfries' This Weekend

Have you tried the new low-calorie, low-fat french fry option?

By Jenni Pompi

In a bid to promote its new, lower calorie and lower fat fried side dish, Burger King will be offering a free order of "Satisfries" on Saturday and Sunday.

The offer will be valid at all BK locations during hours when fries are normally sold (read: not during breakfast). No coupons or purchase will be required.

In the Parkville-Overlea area, residents can visit the following Burger King restaurants to take advantage of the free offer:

  • 8311 Harford Road
  • 1935 East Joppa Road
  • 1043 Taylor Ave.
  • 4101 Wholesale Club Drive
  • 8304 Pulaski Highway
What exactly is a "Satisfry?"

According to the blog SparkPeople:

"Satisfries are coated with a thin batter, which helps them stay crispy longer. The Satisfry batter is designed to help it absorb less fat from the frying process than regular French fries; that’s how you can get all the French fry goodness for less fat, even though they are still fried in oil."

Will you stop by a BK for your free fries this weekend?
