A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. A Cedonia-area man has been arrested in a Rosedale-area burglary. Bryan Antonio Bradley, 26, of the 5600 block of Arnhem Road, faces multiple counts of burglary and destruction of property following the incident. He was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center Dec. 16 on $75,000 bond. Police say that Bradley pried open the back door to a business in the 1700 block of Chesaco Avenue around 10:40 p.m. Dec. 14. He tore a hole in the wall of the business and used the hole to gain access to a neighboring business before being arrested.
