A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. A 7-Eleven store in the Fullerton area was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night. Two men entered the store, located in the 7600 block of Belair Road, around 1:45 a.m. Dec. 4. One of the men pointed a gun at the store clerk and the pair stole about $200 in cash from a register. The robbers also stole a cell phone from the clerk. The robbers fled in a white, four-door vehicle which, at the time, was being driven by a woman. Police have released descriptions of the suspects in the robbery. The first is described as a black male between 25 and 30 years old, 5'9" and approximately 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask and black coat. The second robber is described as a black male, between 25 and 30 years old, 5'9" and approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket. The third suspect, the driver of the vehicle the robbers used to flee the scene, is described only as a woman.
