In an email addressed to members of the Main Street Committee, chairperson Andrea Messier extended her thanks to those who attended and those who helped put the event together.

"As I said this evening, residents and business owners are working together to help Parkville continue to be a great place in which to live, to raise a family, to own a business! I am so happy and proud to be working with each of you," Messier wrote.

About 79 children attended the event and were given gifts by Santa (of the Providence Volunteer Fire Company); the toys left over will be donated to a Baltimore City shelter, Messier wrote.
