Peek Inside the New Parkville Savers

The national thrift store celebrated the grand opening of its Parkville location on Thursday.

Savers, which signed a lease on a 39,000-square foot property in Joppa Heights last June, celebrated the grand opening of its Parkville store on Thursday.

The location, at 1925 E. Joppa Road, previously housed a Giant Food store. The grocer vacated the premises in March 2007.

Councilman David Marks participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony commemorating the opening of the thrift store.
