Donate a new or gently used purse to the Baltimore County Commission for Women's new campaign, and you will be help human trafficking victims.
According to a news release, the commission is hosting the Power of the Purse collection from 3-7 p.m. Oct. 23 at 7 West Chesapeake Ave., Towson.
Drop off purses curbside, and the purses will be sold at future eents of The Samaritan Women, according to a news release from the county executive's office.

If you'd like to help further, the commission is sponsoring Dinner for a Cause on Oct. 23, it states.
On that evening, 15 percent of all eat-in dinner receipts at 7 West Bistro Grill in Towson will be donated to The Samaritan Women to support human trafficking victims.

Funds raised through the Power of the Purse campaign will help TSW's restoration programs for victims, the release states.
