Run Far/Support Local 3-Mile Run

Members of the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville precinct will help guide participants as they run or walk 3 miles along Greene Tree Road.

And members of the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company will escort as well.

This is a fundraising event to benefit the Pikesville Police & Community Relations Council and the fire company.

It's sponsored by Fleet Feet, a business that has held fundraisers throughout the year to benefit both organizations.

McGruff the Crime Dog will visit with participants as well.

There will be booths, giveaways and raffles, according to an event flier.
