GPRC Kids Sports: Registrations Open, Volunteers Needed

The Greater Pikesville Recreation Council has a lot going on this spring—ways to keep your kids busy and healthy.
Registration is open for summer dance and football camps, according to the GPRC website, and there are volunteer opportunities available.

Summer Dance@Sudbrook, which takes place June 18-July 13, is still in registration mode. This program includes Baltimore County Youth Ballet, and Ballet for Boys Only. Visit the program website to register.
UP Football Camp registration is open. This camp for ages 8-14, will be held from June 25-July 20 at , 4300 Bedford Road. It meets Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and costs $20 daily, $90 weekly, or $375 for four weeks, the website states. Wellwood Baseball's opening day is April 15 and the season starts April 16. No detailed schedules have been set, however. The program is also offering a 15 percent off coupon at Modell's Sporting Goods, with a location in . Visit the program website to print out a coupon. Sales help benefit the team.
Pikesville Soccer needs a traveling soccer program coordinator for the fall. The goal is to get this position filled by April 15, the program website states. For more info, or to recommend someone, email Brian Kuebler at coachbkuebler@gmail.com.
The GPRC meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Pikesville High School, the website states.
