Izzy's Chocolates: Do You Know Where to Find 'Em?

They're gluten-free, and come in flavors such as mango, coconut, cranberry and pineapple.

They're made with Belgian chocolate, no preservatives, and by Debora Varon, a native of Peru and Baltimore resident who has a master's degree in food science and doctorate in genetics.

"I love chocolate," she said as she handed out samples of a coconut candy Thursday—somewhere in Pikesville.

"My inspiration is to produce pleasure for people in a healthy way."

That means that people who are very particular about what they eat are her target customers, she said.
