Jilly's Is 29, Celebrating Friday with Free Wings, Shrimp

Twenty-nine: perhaps a perfect age.

Help Jilly's celebrate its birthday Friday evening as the bar and grill offers free wings and shrimp to its happy hour customers, said owner Scott Reich.

Happy hour is from 4:30-6 p.m. at the business, 1012 Reisterstown Road.

There will be more festivities scheduled at the end of next week, Reich said.

Jilly's began as Rodger's Taproom in February of 1984. In 1985, new owners changed the name to Jilly's, named after owner Wil Reich's wife, Jill.

These days, it plays host to locals who gather to have lunch, dinner, and watch sports on its 24 TVs.
