Pikesville Crime: Three Unlocked Cars Burgled

Three unlocked vehicles were ransacked over the weekend in Pikesville, said Lt. William Lally of Baltimore County police.

Two of the burglarized vehicles were parked on the 3500 block of Old Court Road while the third was on the 600 block of Old Crossing Drive, Lally said.

The first vehicle burglarized on Old Court Road was targeted between 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Sunday with the other between 5 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Sunday, according to police reports.

The vehicle on Old Crossing Drive was broken into between 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, another report states.

Lally said it's become a trend for criminals to seek unlocked vehicles or homes to target within the Pikesville precinct.

He urges residents to lock up vehicles, homes and other property in order to help deter crime.
