Program: Network To Get a Job Quickly
Trainer Dave Sherman will teach the tools and techniques of networking during a program April 25 at the Weinberg Park Heights Jewish Community Center.

Networking with people you already know can be the best, quickest way to make a career transition, says professional speaker, trainer and author Dave Sherman.
Other options, such as searching job boards and classified ads, can slow you down, according to a news release from Jewish Community Services' Career Services.
This week Sherman will teach job seekers in the Pikesville area how to make the most of networking to net a job quickly.

From 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, he will lead a program titled "Get the Job Fast! Finding a Great New Job in Half the Time through Networking," the release states.
The free event will be held at the Weinberg Park Heights JCC, 5700 Park Heights Ave.

According to the release, Sherman will share tips, tools and techniques including:
- What's networking and why you need to do it
- Where to go, what to do and what to say to find a job fast
- The four most powerful words in networking
- Avoiding the biggest mistakes in networking
