Readers' Choice: Rusty Scupper Wins Best Mother's Day Brunch

When it comes to pleasing Mom on her special day, Pikesville Patch readers say they prefer Rusty Scupper's Mother's Day Jazz brunch.

Ninety-four percent of readers who participated in an unscientific poll, chose Rusty Scupper out of a list of five area Mother's Day brunches, including , the , and restaurant at Ramada—all in Pikesville, and Della Notte in Baltimore.

"The Rusty Scupper is my choice," Guy Wylie said in the comments section of the poll. "Stunning views of the city and Inner Harbour activity, an elaborate spread with very good food. If that's not enough, Ed Prutzer, the longtime GM and his staff are a warm hospitable group."

A reader who identifies himself as John said The Rusty Scupper has the "best Brunch in town... Love it... Thank you Scupper."

Mother's Day Jazz Brunch will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 13, according to the restaurant website.

It costs $44 per adult and $18.95 per child, the site states.

Reservations are required.

Following are the seating times: 9:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m., 11 a.m. or 11:15 a.m., and 1:15 p.m. or 1:30 p.m., according to the event website. Reservations are for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The restaurant also has Mother's Day Dinner, set for 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. May 13.
