UPDATE: The Park School To Celebrate 100 Years

A variety of events are set for the coming years at the school, located in Pikesville.

UPDATE (1:45 p.m. Sept. 27)—The Park School of Baltimore marks its 100th year on Sept. 30. In celebration, private and public activities will be held.
"Park is very excited to be celebrating its centennial, and a number of school and community events are in the planning for the coming year," said Hillary Jacobs, spokeswoman.
Events begin Friday and Saturday with a private assembly, parade and carnival for students, faculty, parents and alumni.
Public events begin later, including the school's 14th annual auction, set for 5-11 p.m. Nov. 10 at the school.
And on March 3, the school will host a public event called Brain Thrust, featuring alumni, faculty, current and former parents, who will give lectures and workshops relating to their careers, Jacobs said.
Speakers could include a journalist, a chef, and others.

Editor's Note: This post has been updated to remove, at the request of the school, a schedule of events provided by the school but not intended to be open to the public.
