Valentine's Day Aflame at Pikes Diner

A Valentine's Day celebration is in the works at tonight.

Owner Will Reich and his staff are busy preparing for a dance and a special dinner of filet mignon and crabcakes, or short ribs and crabcakes.

Everyone who buys dinner gets a Valentine cupcake, he said. And if that's not enough for your sweetheart, order the bartender's special drink for the night: "Love Calories."

It's a chocolate martini with strawberry mix, red whipped cream and a real strawberry, Reich said.

Local singer Annie B will perform show tunes, Reich said.
