Good morning, Potomac! It’s been a while since you’ve seen “5 Things,” but we have a few items to remind you of. It’s Wednesday, hump day, and time to start winding down your work week. Among our offerings: weather, some interesting tidbits and a few quick notes.

1. We have a varied week ahead of us, with a mix of rain and sun. High temperatures will get into the high 70, with lows in the 40s. Today will be cloudy with a chance of rain and a high of 61, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be cloudy with lows dropping to 44.
