
It’s Friday, Potomac! And I’m sure you know what that means: It’s time to get your morning started with your daily “5 Things.” Among today’s offerings: weather, a recap of yesterday and a few quick notes.
1. Showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service. Today’s high may reach 70, with lows of 48.

Some of our Tweeps (Twitter peeps, for the less hip) reported flooding on Gainsborough Road and Seven Locks Road, and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue reported standing water on River Road and Falls Road.
