The WCHS Character Education and Student Life Committee was initiated in 1999 as part of the nationwide "Character Counts" movement. The committee functions as a sub-committee to the WCHS PTSA, and is now in its 14th year. The mission of the committee is to actively support and promote the core values of character (trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, citizenship, integrity, courage, diligence and honesty) both within the classroom and throughout school sponsored activities at Winston Churchill High School; to enhance student life; and to encourage communication.
