One aggravated assault and a residential burglary were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Sept. 24-Oct. 2 An aggravated assault occurred at the Giant Food on Tuckerman Lane in Potomac, on Saturday Sept. 29 at 8:30 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon, then fled. The suspect is known to the victim. A residential burglary occurred in the 11500 block of Twining Lane in Potomac on Tuesday Sept. 25 between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The property had forced entry and property was taken.
