Bagels 'N Grinds To Provide Grab-And-Go Option In Potomac By Mid-2024

POTOMAC, MD — Bagels 'n Grinds, owned by Adam and Courtney Greenberg, is set to take over a vacant retail space in Potomac Village adjacent to Potomac Pizza once occupied by The Potomac Village Deli, a business also owned by the Greenbergs.

The arrival of Bagels 'n Grinds in Potomac Village will provide a grab-and-go breakfast and lunch option to residents and visitors.

Bagels 'n Grinds, which already has locations in College Park and Hanover, offers a menu featuring nineteen bagel flavors, nine different spreads, omelet-style bagel sandwiches, salads, soups, “baginis,” and traditional sandwiches. Bagels 'n Grinds also features a 28-foot beverage station stocked with brewed coffee, iced coffee, iced tea, soda, and a full espresso and frozen drink menu at the counter.

Bagels 'n Grinds will have a glass-enclosed water treatment facility viewable to the public. The water treatment facility mimics the water that flows from the Catskill Mountains into New York City. “The ability to use ultra-purified water in the bagel-making process enhances the texture and flavor of our bagels,” Adam Greenberg said in a statement.

The treatment facility makes three types of water, “allowing us to not only use the water in the bagel making process, but also in our ice, water, soda, fresh brewed coffee, and iced tea,” Greenberg said.

In addition to the arrival of Bagels 'n Grinds, the Greenbergs announced renovation plans for the original Potomac Pizza, located in the Potomac Village. The renovation will modernize the family pizza joint, bringing a more contemporary look similar to that of the College Park location.

A full bar will be added to Potomac Pizza and the menu will be expanded to include new Italian dishes unique to the Potomac Village location. The newly renovated Potomac Pizza will be run by Potomac Pizza manager and partner Andy Goldstein, who has been with the company since 2010.

Located at 9812 Falls Road, the renovation of Potomac Pizza and the opening of Bagels 'n Grinds are expected to be completed in mid-2024.

The Greenbergs also took over full operations of Hunter’s Bar and Grill in Potomac on Sept. 27 with longtime manager and partner Daniel Seaman and Chef Tennille Middleton.

Bagels 'n Grinds Potomac will be the Greenbergs' ninth fully operating restaurant. They currently own and operate eight restaurants: five Potomac Pizza locations, two Bagels 'n Grinds locations, and Hunter's Bar and Grill.
