
Montgomery County Public Schools announced Sunday that all schools with power would begin the school year as scheduled.
As of 8:30 p.m. Sunday, no Potomac schools were listed as without power. Parents should expect kids to report to their first day of classes as scheduled.
Twenty-one Montgomery County schools remained without power Sunday night, according to the MCPS website, which also stated that a final decision regarding the opening of these schools would be made by 6 a.m. Monday.
