Happy Birthday to Wonder Woman
Patch wishes a belated happy 61st birthday to one of Potomac's most iconic residents.
Lynda Carter, Potomac resident and the woman behind the iconic patriotic figure head Wonder Woman, turned 61 Tuesday.
Best known for playing the title roles in "The New Original Wonder Woman" and "The New Adventures of Wonder Woman" in the 1970s, Carter also made headlines in 2008 for finding a body in the Potomac River.
Stylist.com honored the actress, singer, former Miss World USA-winner with a photo-slide show Tuesday, detailing evolution of Carter's style and influence.
