POTOMAC, MD — Montgomery County police are searching for a man they say robbed a Potomac bank twice in nearly three weeks.

The first incident happened around 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14. Authorities say the suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 9812 Falls Rd., demanded money from a teller, and implied that he was armed. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

Around 11:45 a.m. on Monday, May 3, the male suspect entered the same bank and passed a note announcing the robbery. He again implied that he was armed with a weapon before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
