Police: Armed Robbery at Montgomery Mall May Have Been Drug-Related

Four men threatened a male victim with a handgun near a mall stairwell on Feb. 21, according to a police spokeswoman.

An armed robbery at the Westfield Montgomery Mall Feb. 21 may have been drug-related, according to Mongomery County police.

Four men threatened another man with a handgun near a mall stairwell, according to police spokeswoman Angela Cruz. The robbery, which happened around 7:30 p.m., did not happen inside a store, Cruz said.

The men stole property from the victim, according to a recent crime summary.
