Report: Bethesda Max Brenner to Be 'Sweets-Only' Shop

The chocolate chain's Bethesda location won't be a full-service restaurant like other U.S. shops, Bethesda Magazine reports.

Unlike the chocolate chain's locations in New York City, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Boston, Bethesda Row's new Max Brenner won't be a full-service restaurant, Bethesda Magazine reported.

The Woodmont Avenue location will be the first "sweets-only" location in the U.S. for the chain, according to the report. The shop, which will seat 70 to 80 and feature retail, should be open by mid-June.

The shop will feature a walk-up counter where patrons can order chocolate and coffee drinks, fondue, and other chocolate concoctions, and a server will bring the treats to their table, according to Bethesda Magazine.
