SerbFest DC's Spring Festival Comes to Potomac

The three-day festival will include traditional Serbian dishes, beverages, dance and music performances, gifts and boutique items.

From SerbFest DC: SerbFest DC’s upcoming Spring 2017 Festival is running Friday, May 19th - Sunday, May 21st bringing authentic Serbian food, culture, crafts and entertainment to the greater Washington, DC area.

Presented by Saint Luke Serbian Orthodox Church of Potomac, MD—the epicenter for Serbian culture in and around Washington, DC—the three-day festival has something for everyone, including traditional Serbian dishes, beverages, dance and music performances, gifts and boutique items and family-friendly activities. In addition, admission and parking are free, an indoor setup has been arranged in case of inclement weather and all a la carte food item proceeds benefit Saint Luke Serbian Orthodox Church.

  • Friday, May 19th, 6-9:00 p.m.: Serbian music by DC Acoustic Band
  • Saturday, May 20th, 2-5:00 p.m. & 6-9:00 p.m.: Performances by Srpski Sinovi, a traditional tamburitza band
  • Saturday, May 20th at 3:00 p.m.: Folklore ensemble Strazilovo from St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church (Toronto, Ontario)
  • Sunday, May 21st, 1-5:00 p.m.: Performance by Srpski Sinovi, a traditional tamburitza band
  • Sunday, May 21st at 3:00 p.m.: The Academy of Serbian Folk Dance Association (Toronto, Ontario)
