Whelan's To Open Beer And Wine Store In Potomac Village

POTOMAC, MD — Whelan’s Potomac is opening a beer and wine store this week in the Potomac Promenade shopping center in Potomac Village.

Whelan’s is owned by Greg Whelan, owner of McGinty’s Public House in Silver Spring, and his wife Emma Whalen, who was co-owner of the now-closed Astro Lab Brewing in Silver Spring, MoCo Show reported Tuesday.

“With our onsite bar with 12 fresh beers on tap as well as curated wines by the glass, we can't wait to share our space with you,” Whelan’s Potomac said. “Whether you're calling in for a pint or grabbing a few 6-packs and bottles of wine to-go, we aim to offer some of the best selections available in the Village.”

Whelan’s Potomac is located 9812 Falls Road in Potomac.
