Kelley Animal Shelter is at full capacity for dogs and urgently seeking rescue partners and adopters to free up kennels. Located on Hallowing Point Road, the county-run facility has every dog kennel filled and continues to receive new arrivals daily. Residents can view adoptable dogs online and visit during public adoption hours Tuesday through Saturday.

A devoted homemaker and caregiver, she helped raise generations of grandchildren, sharing her faith, warm breakfasts, and gentle spirit. She is survived by several children living in Prince Frederick, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
   

• Maryland State Police start holiday toy drive to help children in need (foxbaltimore.com) — Maryland State Police are running a holiday toy drive with a convenient drop-off site at the Prince Frederick barrack on Main Street, making it easy for local residents to help children in need. New, unwrapped toys like games, books, and crafts can be donated during regular business hours, but realistic toy weapons and food items won’t be accepted.
