$10.6 Million Renovation Begins on Major Prince George's County Highway
Reduced speed limits and narrowed lanes are expected for drivers on Queens Chapel Road.

A one-mile portion of Queens Chapel Road will be under construction for an enhancement project in Prince George’s County.
In order to improve safety and traveling for the 23,550 vehicles that take the highway every day, the State Highway Administration contracted Ardent Company for the revitalization along MD 500 in Hyattsville.
Not only will intersection operations be upgraded, but bicycle lanes and a landscaped median will be added from Hamilton Street to East West Highway.
