- The deadline to enter the Maryland Municipal League's 2012 “If I were Mayor, I would…” essay contest is this Friday, March 30. The statewide contest is open to all fourth graders. The winners will be recognized by Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown in a public ceremony on Friday, May 20, at the Maryland State House. Enter here.
