PG County Schools Change Monday Evening Schedule

Prince George’s County Public Schools has cancelled all afternoon and evening activities for Monday, Jan. 26.

Most students who attend non-public schools in other jurisdictions are still on a normal schedule. Check with your jurisdiction to see if delays and closings are being announced.

Prince George’s Public Schools students already had the day off Monday for a grading and teacher planning day. Sunday evening, the school system announced that while emergency personnel must report on time Monday, other staff would be offered a liberal leave due to the weather.

Evening high school registration is also cancelled for Monday.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday for Anne Arundel, Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Montgomery counties and surrounding areas. Between 3-6 inches of snow are expected.
