Police: Riverdale Kidnapping Suspect at Large

Police are searching for one of two men accused of abducting a man outside his home on Tuesday.

One suspect is under arrest and a second remains at large after a man was kidnapped Tuesday night in Riverdale, according to Prince George's County Police.

Authorities said the men confronted the victim around 10:30 p.m. outside his home in the 5200 block of 59th Ave.

The pair allegedly forced the victim into his own vehicle and drove him to an ATM on Kenilworth Avenue, where he was instructed to withdraw cash.

When officers responding to the incident located the victim's vehicle, the abuctors tried to speed away but crashed into a parked car, police said. One of the men was apprehended after a foot chase, while the second escaped.

A shot fired by one of the suspects during the pursuit did not hit any officers, police said. The victim was not seriously injured in the incident.

Officials have not yet released the name of either suspect.
