The town of University Park held its election Tuesday for four council seats in wards 2, 4, 5 and 6. According to a town alert the election results were as follows: <ul> <li>James Gekas (Ward 2) won the seat with 22 votes.</li> <li>Len Carey (Ward 4) won with 19 votes.</li> <li>Heidi A. Sorenson (Ward 5) won with 11 votes.</li> <li>Michael B. Cron (Ward 6) won with 8 votes.</li> </ul> All the races were uncontested.
