Join the University Park Civic association on July 4 for the town's annual Independence Day parade and picnic.  Residents should meet up on Queens Chapel Road near the town hall at 10 a.m. for bike, wagon and stroller decorating.  The parade will commence at 10:45 a.m. and march down Queens Chapel. The picnic will follow at the University Park Elementary school gazebo. To volunteer or register a group for parade participation, email Dawn Nichols at dawnandjoe@verizon.net.
