LifeBridge Health/ ExpressCare Community Scholarship Winners

Severna Park High School students win LifeBridge Health/ ExpressCare Community Scholarship!

Congratulations to Nicholas Urbanski and Veeraj Shah from Severna Park High School for winning the LifeBridge Health/ ExpressCare Community Scholarship!

LifeBridge Health and ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers partnered to award high school seniors scholarships to be used towards furthering their educations. Each scholarship winner submitted a 750-1,000 word essay with the theme, “How I Will Use My Education to Give Back to My Community.” 166 students from Baltimore City and Baltimore, Carroll, Prince George’s, Harford, and Anne Arundel counties applied for the college scholarships. Twenty-six students received scholarship money which ranged from $2,000 to $2,500. There was also a dinner to celebrate their enthusiasm for giving back to enrich the lives of those in need.

The goal of this scholarship is to motivate students to continue positive engagement in their communities through their passions. A panel of judges selected these seniors because of their desire to care for their communities… which aligns with ExpressCare’s and LifeBridge Health’s belief that education is an essential investment in the students’ and the future.
