Mark Your Calendars for Back-to-School Nights

Don't tell the kids, but summer is starting to wind down. 

Anne Arundel County Public Schools has announced its schedule for Back-to-School Nights, where teachers will meet with parents to discuss the start of the school year. 

In the Severna Park area, most schools will host Back-to-School Nights during the first two weeks of September. 

Here's a look at the schedule for Back-to-School Nights locally:

• Severna Park High: September 3, 6 p.m.

• Severna Park Middle: Grade 6—September 10, 6:30 p.m. Grades 7-8— September 12, 6:30 p.m.

• Benfield Elementary: September 11, 6:30 p.m.

• Folger McKinsey Elementary: September 11, 6:30 p.m.

• Jones Elementary: September 9, 6:30 p.m.

• Oak Hill Elementary: September 9, 6:30 p.m.

• Severna Park Elementary: September 19, 7 p.m.

• Shipley’s Choice Elementary: September 9, 7 p.m.
