Spring Arbor at Severna Park will offer assisted living and memory care.

Anne Arundel County’s newest senior citizen community will host a grand opening Thursday.

Spring Arbor at Severna Park will offer 78 senior apartments featuring one- and two-bedroom suites, as well as a variety of services for assisted living and dementia care-supported living, according to HHHunt, the Virginia-based company that owns and operates the new community.

It’s located at 345 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, and the grand opening celebration will begin at 4 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30.

Spring Arbor of Severna Park will offer “the use of individualized care plans that focus on a level of care rather than a la carte pricing, which is more thorough and cost efficient for residents,” HHHunt said in a statement. The community will also emphasize resident activities, such as art and music programs.

The community also offers a spa, salon, multiple libraries, sunrooms, ”inviting common spaces” and restaurant-style dining. Other amenities “include a wellness room with state-of-the-art equipment for physical and occupational therapy needs and transportation to medical appointments,” HHHunt said.
