SEVERNA PARK, MD — A Severna Park High School marching band volunteer is charged with sex abuse of a student, and police are asking any other victims to contact authorities. According to Anne Arundel County Police, Wilbur Jesse Hildebrand, 56, from the 100 block of Solomons Ridge Court in Millersville, asked the victim to send him nude photographs, which the student did.

The case came to light in October of 2016, when the former Severna Park High School student disclosed engaging in a sexual relationship with Hildebrand. During a search of Hildebrand's home on Oct. 24, police seized several electronic devices that were examined and found to contain images that belonged to the suspect.

An arrest warrant was issued Feb. 1 for Hildebrand charging him with sex abuse of a minor, perverted practice, fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault. Hildebrand was arrested without incident on Feb. 2 at his residence.
