Severna Park Bicyclist Killed In Crash With SUV: Police Report
A 77-year-old man was killed after he ran his bicycle into the side of a Jeep turning in front of him.
SEVERNA PARK, MD — A 77-year-old man traveling eastbound in the 600 block of Shore Road Friday on his bicycle was killed after crashing into the side of a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The incident occurred shortly after 12 p.m. as the Jeep was traveling eastbound, too. The driver of the Jeep began to turn right into the driveway of his residence when, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the bicyclist ran into the side of the Jeep.
The bicyclist, Thomas Eugene Adensam, was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center and later to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he was pronounced dead at a later date. The driver of the Jeep, 47-year-old Jonathan Christopher Plummer, remained on scene and was uninjured.
